UntitledDifferent interventions and treatments require different preparation protocols that will be given and explained to you upon the treatment/intervention booking confirmation.

There are a number of general guidelines, however, that apply to every intervention/treatment. You should not drink or eat 6 to 8 hours before you surgical treatment, if you are a smoker, you should cut down on smoking as much as you can, especially if your intervention includes general anesthesia.
If you are suffering from a cold, sore throat or any other illness, please call us immediately, as your admission may need to be postponed.


You are kindly requested to bring the following items with you upon admission:

  • Dressing gown
  • Nightdress or pajamas
  • Slippers
  • Any current medication
  • Toiletries, including towel, toothbrush, toothpaste and a hairbrush or comb


Do not bring valuables and money with you, as Masarra clinic is not responsible for their loss.
